Bumpdate: 35 weeks

Wow, I skipped more time than I realized on this last update. I was thinking I just skipped week 34.

No fancy app picture today, everyone. My photographer is away for spring break and I couldn't get the selfie stick to cooperate this morning, so this is as good as it gets.
Not going to lie, week 35 has been a long and achy one. I was convinced one night I was in the early stages of labor because there's just no way I could be that uncomfortable for 5 more weeks. Of course, I was wrong. The struggle this week has been after work. I feel super great (but extra tired) at work and then come home and wobble/hobble around making achy noises. I feel bad for my husband, hah!

Sleep: I have to remember to diffuse my lavender/sleepytime blend to really get a good deep sleep. I am getting up about 3 times a night to go to the bathroom which is getting super old. I would really like to get as much sleep as possible while I still can, but that just doesn't seem to be in the cards.

Miss Anything? The usual. Sleep, the gym, my old clothes, my old hips, laying on my stomach, sushi, blah blah blah

Movement: When is this kid not moving?? Actually he is usually pretty chill when I start getting ready for work and parts of the morning at work. Around lunch time it's on though and especially at night. He goes crazy during our usual tv time.

Food Cravings: Nothing major really. I still want some tuna salad. I've been drinking less regular almond milk and more chocolate almond milk this week. I ran out this morning though, so it's back to the unsweetened plain version. I've also been loving mini cucumbers in Greek cucumber yogurt dip this week. Cucumbers are great for helping to ease swelling, so I've been all about them.

Anything make you sick or queasy: I only feel sick if I eat too much or go too long without food. Similar to the first trimester actually. Lately it's been eating too much though. I will fix a normal size meal and feel awful after eating it. During the day at work though I eat lots of small items through out the day so my tummy is never too full.

Belly Button In or Out: Still more like flat. I think people must just be prone to have an outie when pregnant or not have one.

Wedding Rings On or Off: Still holding strong. Maybe just maybe I'll make it 5 more weeks with them on.

Mood: Today is pretty good. I got some good rest last night minus getting up 3 times. My mood is usually tired though. That's a pregnancy mood, right? Ah I know I know, you just think you're tired now. I get it. I'm just sayin'.

Looking Forward To: This afternoon we have another baby shower. The sweet people at my husband's office are throwing us a shower after work today. I'm leaving my office a little early so I can make my way out there. I also haven't seen my husband's new office (they moved a few weeks/maybe a month ago to a location about 30-45 min away from their old office, eek). My husband works with some super sweet people and I can't wait for this afternoon.

I'm also looking forward to this weekend. It's Easter weekend and the weather is supposed to be pretty decent. Cooler, but I think we will still be able to enjoy some outside time and hopefully make some BBQ for the family.

Also on the agenda this weekend is finishing the nursery. It has been painted and I LOVE the color! Sneak peek...
This is before the paint dried so it's still very light and hard to see the actual color. I will have to take some better pictures this weekend (IG: @janessa1020). Hubby took the blinds down last night so we just need to paint inside the window on the edges and touch up some areas around the ceiling and we are good to go! Next project is to finish painting the crib and changing table. Those are going to be gray and possibly distressed, just depending on how they turn out. I have a feeling the nursery may not actually be 100% finished by the time little man arrives, but he won't be sleeping in there for a while so it's fine. And I'm pretty sure he won't care if I can't find the perfect book ledges to complete "the look" lol.

Anyways, that's where we are at this week! I still have to post pictures from the family showers. I managed to put them on my computer last weekend so now I just have to get them on the blog!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!! Tell me something you are doing this weekend to celebrate!

I hope week 36 is easier on you and that you can get more sleep!
