I actually have been taking some pictures of the bump growth over the last million weeks or however long it has been. It's kind of weird looking at the old pictures of me without a bump now though. I've gotten so used to my new accessory.
Week 30 is my most current. I am 30w6d now. It's kind of convenient changing to a new week every Friday. It's easy to keep up with and I've even added the number to my planner now since I'm so forgetful these days. All in all things have been going really well through this pregnancy. I can definitely tell I'm not as young as I once was. I have many more aches and pains than I did with B, but I know it could always be worse. I'm still working, no bed rest, no blood pressure issues, and no nausea at this point. I am thankful for all those things.
I figure 30 weeks is a great time to start with my first weekly post questions:
Maternity clothes: Absolutely! I have a few tops and dresses that are non maternity that I still wear. The dress in my 30 week pic is a prepregnancy dress. It's an actual wrap dress so it can expand a LOT. All pants are maternity now of course. I have several pair of leggings that still fit.
Weight gain: Ew why is this a topic? It's hard for me to answer honestly because I was weighed at 9 weeks and I'm not sure exactly what I weighed before I got pregnant. I know my doctor "allowed me" 25-35 lbs and so far so good.
Sleep: Yes please! I have been sleeping really well this week. Last week was touch and go so I started a new routine of diffusing some lavender at bed time. Snooze so hard!
Best Moment this Week: Reaching 30 weeks! That's a big number!
Miss anything? Running. I know it sounds crazy but I miss it. All my run friends are running NOLA this weekend and I want to be there running it! But there's always next year. Small price to pay for a bundle of joy!
Movement: All the time. He's much more active in the afternoons from about 2-8pm. Some mornings I think he's wiggling around before I wake up though. I've gotta up to go to the bathroom and he's having a dance party.
Food Cravings: Weirdest craving this week has been milk. I'm never a plain milk drinker but I've had a glass each morning this week. Other than that I don't really have many cravings. Usually I'm hungry but don't know what I want.
Symptoms: Achy in general. I can't roll over in bed without sounding like an elderly person.
Belly Button In or Out: In
Wedding Rings On or Off: On. Luckily I've only had swelling once and that was after standing and talking to some friends for about 4 straight hours. Freaked me out!
Looking Forward to: My doctor's appointment tomorrow to see how we are doing and our baby shower this weekend with my family! I wanted to go with a Dr Seuss/80s baby/retro nursery and so my sisters, mom, aunt and cousin are doing a Dr Seuss themed shower. I can't wait to see what they have put together. They're all so crafty!
That's all for now! Better late than never right?! I promise I have been much better about his baby book though. Even though someone asked me what was this 1985 when I mentioned a baby book....haha!
